script pop problem

I use Firefox 47 with all updates. For last week i have been getting popup stating...A script has stopped working.... This can happen withing minute on line or after sometime has past.

It gives me three options of ...stop script...continue or debug script. No matter which i choose, the page freezes and i have to close it with task manager. Happens on various websites. for no apparent reason. Computer works normally otherwise. Win 7. I am not familiar with scripts at all. Any ideas?

Inastalled Yesscript and problem seems to be solved. i entered several sites that were usually giving the pop ups and i think that fixed it. It may have been certain sites. Time will tell.
