Thunderbird won't start because of an Entry Point Not Found error

Tried starting Thunderbird and got the pop-up shown in the image.

thunderbird.exe - Entry Point Not Found The procedure entry point RtlUnsub could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\KERNEL32.DLL

It worked fine yesterday & have installed nothing new on my laptop since then.

try reinstalling from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/ ?
