Though deleted, websites reappear in "allow for session" each time Firefox 39.0 is opened. Only with verizon.

I visited the Verizon website once and gave permission for cookies under "allow for session" The basic website address is blocked. Now I can delete all Verizon websites under privacy/exceptions, yet they reappear each time I open Firefox 39.0. Verizon must have hidden something somewhere on my computer. Rebooting the computer does not cure the problem. Thanks for any suggestions.

Two questions to help follow up and find out where it is coming from.

  1. Is the network connection you are on provided by verizon? If you connect through a network with a proxy, this might be where they are coming from.
  2. Do you have do not track turned on? How do I turn on the Do Not Track feature?

Some research on opting out of mobile cookies can be found with a quick search, I will not link them hear since it is potentially a third party work around.

My network connection is not through Verizon. Do Not Track is turned on.

I suspect there is some other sort of cookie type thing hidden somewhere in my computer, I just don't know where to look for it to delete it.

Thanks for your answer, though.
