A bug or a virus? With a fresh download and install, FF opens OK, then brings up AOL (I selected Yes for the AOL "version" recently - was this a mistake?). Then a 2" window appears (does not delete, no way to delete it, just remains there), and the menu options to right of File disappear. Also the cursor doesn't click anywhere, but moves around OK. I want to delete this AOL thing as it is useless. Can you help? I'm directing you to Reply to my wife's email as I cannot reach mine from my Mac.

被選擇的解決方法

hello, as you've noted this might be an issue caused by the aol toolbar. please try launching firefox into safemode by pressing the shift key after you double-click its desktop icon, go to the firefox menu ≡ > addons > extensions and disable the toolbar there. Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems
