I am running Firefox on a mac but had to delete it because of an adware problem. After taking care of the adware I tried to download Firefox again but got this message " Your system doesn't meet the requirements to run Firefox." I'm running Mountain Lion 10.8.5, I have had Firefox installed on my computer for years so I can't understand why my system doesn't meet the requirements.

Do you currently have Firefox installed or did you move the program to the Trash?

You can try to download the Firefox DMG file and save the file to the desktop. You can find the full version of the current Firefox 35.0.1 release in all languages and for all operating systems here:

Thanks for the reply cor-el, I deleted Firefox and then emptied the trash. I did use the first url that you linked and I tried a couple of others.

Are you able to download the Firefox DMG installer?
