why Thunderbird deletes inbox messages at 2 weeks old?
recently started using thunderbird. thunderbird keeps deleting messages automatically from inbox once they are 2 weeks old. why is it doing this and how can i change settings to leave messages i need to keep in my inbox beyond 2 weeks?

Okay i have a problem with the same thing, why would the default option be deleting all my emails in my mailbox? I don't see how that logic stands up.
Is there a way to bring those emails back up in my mailbox?
I didn't even make note of this until it was too late and it had deleted a bunch of messages. I mean a lot of mailboxes get filled with lots of spam and it is very hard to get a hold of why and which emails are missing.
shadyz, you'd better create a new thread for your problem.
Thank you , I posted a thread here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1040785
