Question about the Lightbeam add-on and how it works with the Disconnect add-on.

Hi. I'm running Firefox 31.0 with both the Disconnect and the Lightbeam add-ons and am wondering how they interact. For instance, Disconnect is supposed to guard against certain third-party 'connections' when visiting a Website, and sure enough, Disconnect will let you know what third party sites were ostensibly kept at bay. Yet Lightbeam shows third-party connections that are not even mentioned by Disconnect. Which should I believe, I wonder?

Also, with regard to Lightbeam, there are two viewing options: the Graph and the List. I would think that what shows on these should be redundant, yet the List always has more entries than show up on the graph. Anyone know why?

Hi Electrojim, Perhaps both are great tools to use. Just like virus scanners, its nice to have more than one just in case one did not detect another.

This is how Lightbeam detects a site https://github.com/mozilla/lightbeam/.../data_format.v1.1.md and how DIsconnect's FAQs https://disconnect.me/disconnect/faq
