I use Sessions in Firefox a LOT, so am worried that I'll delete all the stored sessions when I reset firefox?

Will resetting Firefox delete my stored Sessions?

Thanks Richard

Is the toolbar in the toolbar area? If you switch to full screen view, that area usually will slide up and out of view. You can switch between normal and full screen view by pressing the F11 key.

Usually, an extra toolbar in the toolbar area is added by an extension. Oddly, your "More System Details" doesn't show an obvious Yahoo! extension:

Name: Firebug
Name: MeasureIt
Name: Session Manager
Name: AVG Security Toolbar
Name: HP Smart Web Printing

???

If the toolbar is within your home page (page that appears any time you create a new window using Ctrl+n), you can reset your home page to the default using either:

Any luck?

Reset only preserves the session active at the moment you reset.

What is the problem you're trying to purge? We may be able to suggest manual tweaks/corrections.

Hi Jscher, I am trying to remove the yahoo toolbar that has taken over my firefox. have been following instructions: http://malwaretips.com/blogs/yahoo-toolbar-removal/

And have successfully removed this malware from Chrome and IE.

Don't want to reset my firefox, has I have a lot of work related sessions saved on it. Is there another way of removing the yahoo toolbar? Thanks Richard

Hi, The problem seems to have resolved itself when I removed the 'Linkidoo' from my programs. My firefox, thankfully, seems to have gone back to normal without resetting firefox and losing my saved sessions. Thanks for your help!
