In version 23.0.1, text I have highlighted doesn't stay highlighted when I choose a different entry in a dropdown box. How can I do this?
How can I get the text to remain highlighted when I choose a different entry from the dropdown box?
Rarely the text remains highlighted, most of the time I have to re-highlight it.
This is new since downloading version 23.0.1
Thank you.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
Thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately, it's still not working

Could you be more specific about the drop-down box: is this a Firefox menu, a toolbar button, or a form control in the web page itself? What are you trying to do with the menu/button/form control? If you notice this on a particular page, can you provide a URL (assuming no login is required).
Absolutely I can be.
I believe it's a form control in the web page itself; here's a link:

What I do is highlight from "Daily Settlements for....." and go to "Last Updated..." and then cycle through the "Trade Date" drop down box (form control?).
The highlighted text used to remain highlighted as I cycled through the Trade Dates and now it doesn't.
Hope that helps. If not, please let me know.
It looks as though that whole table is removed and replaced when you choose a new date. As a workaround, select from just after the drop-down control to just before the phrase Market data explanation/disclaimer. This includes the container around that table in your selection so you don't lose your selection when the table is replaced.
That works. Thank you! You just saved me a ton of time. Can't thank you enough!
