How to reset Firefox Health Report uptime stats which are too larger than what it should be
I'm on the latest Firefox beta channel and up to date to the date. In about:healthreport page, I'm seeing a wrong count of time under "time open": http://i.imgur.com/XdlB17q.png
This is almost 4 years that I can't keep firefox open in this month (I'm sure I didn't waste 4 years of my life on the web either).
Is there any way to reset this count ? Seems like a really useful feature but not working fine for me.
Thanks in advance!

The time listed isn't time open this month, but the total time the Profile you are using Firefox was open (which could be years). But yeah, something doesn't seem right about that count (mine says 5+ years on a computer I've had for about 6 months lol). I'll file a bug to get this fixed, hopefully in a few betas.
This is a youngster, a Nightly open 42 minutes, (but rather crashy).
Not sure why that one works at all; never mind the age. It is a Mozilla 23.0a1 (2013-04-20) on Linux (Ubuntu 12.4 LTS). Windows ones have also worked recently.
However Canonical Aurora 22.0a2 (2013-04-17) is still not working the on screen error is

This not a problem only occurring on distro builds, because I currently have a similar problem on Mozilla Beta 21.0
Any idea whether or not this is a known issue.
(For instance could bug 846848#c27 {recent UNC paths problem} have any bearing on this ? )
Thanks for your reply!
One thing I can guess caused this (even though it may be unlikely) is that I used Mozbackup to backup and restore my firefox profile (I also have sync enabled).
It could be because I had a wrong time when I start firefox or something (Completely new profiles don't have this issue)
I have no idea how Firefox works out the date used in FHR . No doubt Tyler will comment later.
I would hazard a guess that it may look at the date of creation/modification of the files possibly the date of modification of the profile folder. Whatever it is doing it may be doing it wrong. (I don't think Tyler has filed a bug yet. He probably works Monday to Friday
I guess it would do no harm to look at your file dates. See if any look wrong and as if they may explain the unexpected time period.

Thanks for the reply, @John99. I will try my best to supply as much as info I can.
I also have about:me addon installed. It shows November 12th, 2012 which should be the correct date that I first installed Firefox on this computer (I imported the profile later that day).
Thanks again and wish you a great weekend!
You have a good weekend too.
I have not followed FHR development, and would quickly get lost if I tried, but I am interested in it being implemented and developing into a user friendly diagnostic.
I did stumble across this
and note it says:
Notes
It is somewhat difficult to obtain a reliable profile born date due to a number of factors.
I suppose that may indicate the profile age may be a known problem still being worked on.
I also filed a bug about my own problem Bug 864195 - Displays errors but no data...

Hey all!
So I did file a bug report (no action yet due to the weekend) Bug 863900, and this will get looked at :) It sounds like there are some issues with how we both gather and display time up, so this may take some time to fix.
