Alright. So... today I was prompted to update my Java edition, and it did so with no problem. Or so I thought.

See...ever since a little bit before I updated my Java edition, things seem to be going a bit funnily. On YouTube, a video will either 1) Start at any point in the video that is not the beginning part (as in, it will skip the beginning and sometimes even parts afterwards), or 2) Start at the beginning, go for a second or two, then restart, then continue on. On Last. F.M., my radio player won't even, well, play. It won't get past the buffering stage. I assume there are other issues too, but I have not checked. It seems to be doing the same thing in IE.

A couple of days-a day ago-this morning, it wasn't doing this, and I haven't updated my computer besides the update from Firefox 18 to Firefox 19, and the Java update. I also recall a recent Flash update, but I believe that was before all this.

Why do I think this is an issue with Firefox/IE or Java (or some other program), and not my computer? Because I'm currently opening both these pages in Chrome, and everything is fine. It's starting and playing normally.

So, with that said, how do I fix this? Please make your answers clear, concise, and not full of technical terms, as I am not good with computers.

Also, I would like to know why this issue seems to be affecting Firefox and IE, but not Chrome.

Also, I would like to know if anyone has seen this and is working on the answer/a fix for the issue mentioned above. Sorry if I sound impatient, but I would like an answer/solution to this issue. Thank you very much.
