I have been trying to get flash to work in FF14, and finally figured it out today by disabling Real Player. But when flash finally worked after that, the results are the following:

1. I was asked to save my tabs upon exit, so I clicked "Save and Quit." But upon opening, my tabs weren't saved, instead it showed my homepage.

2. I did the Firefox -> Options -> General Tab -> "Show my windows and tabs from last time" but it still didn't work, and upon exit, firefox didn't ask me if I want to save my tabs.

In short, those two options won't work together, it's either I have to chose one or the other (I prefer firefox asking me to save tabs upon exit though). Either way, they're both not saving tabs at the moment.

If there's anyone who could help me about this, it is much appreciated. I'm really out of ideas.

Try to use "Firefox/File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit") to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the title bar.

Make sure not to use "Clear history when Firefox closes" to clear the "Browsing History" and that the history is enabled.

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history" >
  • [X] Clear history when Firefox closes > Settings
