Adobe X CREATOR program compatible with my laptop & printer until automatic firefox update disabled Adobe pdf capabilities. Don’t want update. Can’t use Adobe X. Only info re: "disabling" - not "enabling" it with firefox.

Hi sonjal,
Have you looked at the View PDF files using Firefox’s built-in viewer Knowledge Base article? There is some good troubleshooting information in there. They also list 2 different PDF plugins. I'd try both if you are having trouble with Adobe X.
Hopefully this helps!
Sonjal continues: I could scream! Just installed and updated after a major computer crash. Now cannot use anything that I need for my work. I don't like the updates making decisions regarding the dismantling of expensive programs that I install with NO notice whatsoever. I'm just a mom, not a techie and am also frustrated that there is no 1:1 support available and I'm at the whim of whomever might see this and maybe have a solution. This is not customer service when a "service" destroys my home computing capabilities, then gives no recourse for fixing the problem other than a public forum. I am frustrated and angry. I just want my stuff to work without problems.
It does not help - it only refers to reading pdfs. The update destroyed my capability to use my expensive Adobe X pdf CREATOR program. It was disabled and I can't use my pdf creator from my own computer now - whether online or off. The firefox update is not compatible with my program. I want the old firefox that was compatible and would like to disable the current firefox update that destroyed my current work situation.
Again - only regarding READER, not CREATOR. I just had a program that I paid for wiped from my computer due to this update. My computer does not recognize the printer at all now. I'm furious. No one is answering my main question: Can I reverse the update, remove whatever caused this screw up in the first place and go back to the firefox that worked with my home set up?
