How can I turn off popup blockers on my imac 10.7.5 in Firefox
I looked in preferences under both privacy and security and couldn't find a place to turn off Popup Blocker

You should look under the Content tab of the options window. The Pop-up blocker settings, exceptions and troubleshooting Knowledge Base article will give you all the details you need. It will also give you steps on setting an exception for a particular site. That way you don't have to turn it off completely.
