Recently I noticed that an email I forwarded to myself from Hotmail to Gmail was not displayed completely. I read about existing problems with Gmail and discovered that Gmail does have issues with Firefox. I did an experiment with the same scenario only I used IE 8 and the email in question displayed correctly. How can I get Firefox to do the same ?

Perform the suggestions mentioned in the following articles:

Check and tell if its working.

May not be related to your problem but some of your Firefox Plugins are out-dated

  • Update All your Firefox Plugins -> https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/
  • When Downloading Plugins Update setup files, Remove Checkmark from Downloading other Optional Softwares with your Plugins (e.g. Toolbars, McAfee, Google Chrome, etc.)

Thanks for responding mha007 and Swarnava.

I've tried your suggestions to no avail. The issue still persists in Firefox only. The email not fully displaying in Firefox does display correctly in IE9. There have been other instances of email not showing photos and I just thought the sender side had an issue. Guess it's me instead.

Starting Firefox in safe mode does nothing different. I'll live with it for now and keep researching.

I came across the same problem for the first time today. I received an email on Gmail which appeared to be blank in Firefox but displayed correctly in both IE9 and Chrome.
