Am getting an error msg to update firefox using acer aspire 1 255-E booted in android 1.6 / Shiretoko. Download won't runAndroid 1.6

The Firefox build you have is a third party build from Acer.
The minimum you need for the mobile Firefox builds from Mozilla is Android is 2.1+
