The go back one page button has to be pressed more than once to make it work most of the time. Is this normal?

What do you see if you open the tab history by holding down the left mouse button on the Back key?
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
