when typing a web address, my curser jumps to the google search line after a couple of letters
Lately, when I begin to type an address into the address line, after I type a couple of characters, my curser jumps down to the search line on my homepage (google). This has only recently begun to happen. I find that if I type slowly, it happens less. I have no idea why this is happening, but it is nervewracking!

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
