In this upgraded version, the tabs have gone to the very top, thus obliterated my taskbar: I have no "file," "edit," "view," tools." How do I get them back?
The area to open new tabs is now at the very top, thereby obliterating the taskbar. I have no "file," "edit," "view," tools," etc. How do I get them back? Where did they go?

With the orange Firefox button displayed the menu bar is hidden, you can get the menu bar back quite easily. Right-click on a toolbar, then click on the "Menu bar" entry to display it.

Go to View, Toolbars, then uncheck "Tabs on top." Another useless change to "the way things were" by a developer who has his head where the sun doesn't shine.

TONY E: THANK YOU SO MUCH. I SPENT SEVERAL HOURS TRYING TO GET THAT TOOLBAR BACK. WAS ON THE PHONE WITH AT & T YAHOO MAIL. HE TOLD ME THAT THE INSTALLATION WAS CORRUPT AND TO UNINSTALL/REINSTALL, WHICH I DID--TO NO AVAIL. SO, THANK YOU. THE ORANGE MOZILLA BUTTON IS NOW GONE. DO I NEED IT FOR ANYTHING, AND IF SO, HOW DO I GET IT BACK?
FLAGSTAFF: I THINK YOU MISSED THE POINT. I HAD NO "VIEW' TAB TO CLICK ON. IT'S BACK NOW. TONYE UNDERSTOOD. THANK YOU ANYWAY.
The Yahoo toolbar has no "Menu Bar" option. Now what?
All I have is 'Move', 'Size', 'Minimum', 'Maximize' & 'Close' when I right click the orange Firefox icon at the top L of my browser window. There is NO "Menu bar" option at all.
So I have NO way to correct this EXTREMELY annoying problem? I have to say until now I've not had a problem with Firefox, not much anyway. But this is too much and should NOT have happened at all. It's been two days now and no solution.
How do I get back to normal browsing ASAP or do I have to just go back to IE? I hope not!
Thanks for any help. ;o)
awwwwwwwwwwwww sheesh, just when I got all the problems fixed from the LAST UPDATED VERSION. my file, edit, view, history don't have the nice boxes around them as before, bookmarks are GONE...............come on you guys!
OK, I got the toolbar back, FINALLY, (after 2 days), but now how do I get the TASKBAR back??? You know, where START is at!
Plus...Like Joanne1348, R clicking the FF icon does not give me a MENU option. I have (unlike Joanne) options like "reloading tabs." And here I was mentally blaming the 3 yr old for messing up the computer, but really it was a paid adult!
