Why did I lose my arrows (page forward, last page and refresh) and how do I get them back?

  • Make sure that you have the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" visible: "View > Toolbars"
  • If items are missing then see if you can find them in the "View > Toolbars > Customize" window
  • If you see the item in the Customize window then drag it back from the Customize window to one of the toolbars.
  • If, in "View > Toolbars > Customize", you do not see that item then click the "Restore Default Set" button

Last Tuesday I upgraded the RAM on my XPS 8100 from 6GB to 16GB. Running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. Since then I have losat all of my favorites and have no back or forward buttons. No progress when trying to restore to a prior date for the favorites.

Even reinstalled firefox.

Is this the fault of microsoft (17 updates that day I think) or an issue with firefox? Coincidentally, it hasn't happened on my laptop, but I haven't installed the tuesday upgrades yet.
