I'm running Thunderbird 115.4.3 (Supernova) (64-bit). Prior to the update to version 115, Thunderbird would show me the most recent messages each time I would click on the Inbox of an account.

But now, after the update to version 115, when I click on my default Inbox, Thunderbird shows me old messages from weeks or even months ago, and I have to scroll down to see the new messages.

I have four accounts in TB and three of the inboxes function correctly. It is just my main account which is not behaving correctly.

Please help. It's frustrating having to scroll down every time I switch between inboxes.

Does your message list pane show more than one line per message? If so, your Thunderbird is set to 'card view.' Click the three dots to the right of 'quick filter' just above the message list pane and tick 'table view.' That will show a row across top of message list pane and one of the words is 'Date.' Click that to change order of sort.

Thanks David. Unfortunately TB was already sett to Table View as well as Sort being set to Date. I'm still getting the same behaviour. When switching between inboxes, then returning to default account inbox, Message List Pane displays messages from anywhere between November 2022 and January 2023 (FTR, it's currently November 2023).

I've seen numerous others have encountered the same issue with no solution. I know it's a 1st world problem, but having to click sort by Date twice to re-sort is just frustrating.

Thanks again for your input. Will keeping looking and waiting for a fix.
