Firefox selected text translation
How does the translator determine when it is activated? Does the translator give the ability to translate selected text, or just the visited page?
I was trying to find a site to test it. I found this.
Maybe it's not an ideal example, but it neither translates the page, or gives the option to translate selected text.

Currently only full page translation is available for the main language of a page, so your example would not be expected to translate.
May I ask if you have an addon preference, perhaps Firefox Translations, or Simple Translate?
