Getting my mail from my email server
This is how I collect my email now: https://webmail.beld.net/?_task=mail&_mbox=INBOX I don't know how to tell Thunderbird to do that and can not get my email through Thunderbird. My email server is going to close down some time in March 2022 and Yahoo says I can continue to use that email address as mine on their web site. I would like to use Thunderbird to collect my email. Will that be possible? This used to be easy for me, but now at age 79, it's not so easy as it used to be. Can you help me? I really appreciate what ever you can do. I have had that email address for over 30 years. Thank You, [email protected]

That link is for access to your BELD email account via their webmail facility/portal on a browser such as Firefox. It cannot be used by Thunderbird (you cannot tell Thunderbird to use it). You are supposed to transfer your BELD email to Comcast Xfinity or another email service of your choice, according to https://www.beld.net/transition Have you done so already and chosen Yahoo? If not, how does Yahoo fit into this? If you have transfered your BELD mail to Yahoo, then yes, it is possible to use Thunderbird and Yahoo servers (the new home for your email) to collect your email. If you haven't done so yet, please do. Your emails need a new home first, before you can collect them in Thunderbird. If you need help with transfering your email, contact Xfinity support via contacts provided here https://get2knowcomcast.com/
