So that I can try to replicate this here, what level of enhanced tracking protection do you have set? Do you have any add-ons installed?

I reinstalled so should just all be default settings. No add-ons either.

If you were to tap the Android button that shows the open apps, how many apps do you have open on your device?

My phone is a Wiley fox swift 2x 32gb Background processes none, apps running are only system anything else I have set to kill on exit. I did have advanced tracking protection set to strict so set to default which has allowed some links to work. The open links in apps was enabled which once disabled cured issue. It seems eBay for example won't switch to app when it should. Instead it goes to black screen and hangs. eBay requires for postage label to do first label via website. If link to apps is on it just crashes. Turn off works. I think that link apps is in need of looking at in ff settings. Cured for now though I think... Thanks for efforts in helping.
