Moonfruit.com are telling customers to install a version of FF that apparently has a fix for their issue with flash. I am concerned this will compromise the browser & security... can anyone confirm if this is safe / OK to do?

It doesn't look very safe. If you must do it, at least prepare a new dedicated environment. Don't try to break your working OS account with this "modified" flash and archaic Firefox.
