Firefox Home screen background colour

The Firefox Home screen background colour has changed to dark grey/black. It used to be white which I was happy with. I can't seem to find a way to change it back to it's old setting. Any clues?

Hmm, what about other internal Firefox pages like the Add-ons page or the PDF viewer. Have those changed from light to dark?

Firefox may adapt internal pages to your operating system theme, taking that as your preference. It also can signal websites about that preference. You can set that preference yourself if you prefer:

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button accepting the risk.

(2) In the search box, type or paste ui.systemUsesDarkTheme

(3) Firefox should display a bar with some radio buttons to choose a new preference type, followed by a + button. Choose Number and click the + button:

(D) To prefer Light, keep the default value of 0 or to switch to Dark edit the value to 1 and then click the blue check mark button or press Enter/Return to save the change.
