I want to make it so firefox never opens previous tabs

Hello there, I feel a little embarrassed to ask this, because I feel like this should be trivial to do. I've looked through the settings quite thoroughly. By default firefox opens up all the tabs from the previous session, and lazy loads them. I would like it so that it no longer does this. That it just always opens a single new tab. Irrespective of whether firefox closed, or I shut down my computer while it was still open. Is there a way to do this? General > Start-up > Restore previous session, is already unchecked. Thank you very much, Sashin

Hi Sashin, Firefox has an integration with Linux to restore your session if you didn't Quit before shutting down the system. Maybe someone knows a way to bypass that, but I don't recall one from earlier threads.

Perhaps the only way to avoid that would be to find some other way to prevent Firefox from storing your open and recently closed tabs and windows even for crash recovery. Since crash recovery has multiple levels of protection, I can't recall whether there is actually a setting that does that...
