Can't enter NZ phone number to sync
Similar to https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1257374 NZ cell phone numbers have 8 to 10 digits (no country code, first two digits are 02). Firefox only accepts 10 digits for some crazy reason. Such a stupid restriction: Just accept any number, including country code. My number has 9 digits. What do I do now?
The justification "we do it because it was the easiest to implement w/o trying to iterate through the list of countries to find a possible match. It was the easiest path forward to getting the feature shipped." in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1468338 is weak at best.
