If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?

While you are in safe mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

Thanks for your advice, but it doesn't work. None of the suggested solutions were helpful. Neither clearing the cache and cookies, nor booting in safe mode, nor disabling hardware acceleration. Problem still exists.

All the sites that I use work with it normally. Except VK.

I'm talking only about site (vk dot com) and its functioning as a web page in Firefox Desktop 81, not about application in App Store or somewhere else.

There do seem to be some bugs.

I logged in to Pandora and it started playing a station I've listened to before. Global controls worked correctly. I clicked over to an album, watched an ad, and then started playing the first track of that album.

The global controls still seemed to be linked to the original stream. I'm not sure why.

The help article (Control audio or video playback with your keyboard) is a little bit confusing:

Currently we only support controlling media playing from audio and video, so it cannot control media from web-audio, web-speech and Flash plugin.

Hopefully someone can dig into this issue of stream changes a bit more and figure out what's going on.
