No audio in Firefox only (Windows 10)
I have rather abruptly lost all audio in Firefox 77 on Windows 10. YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Facebook videos - all silent.
Meanwhile, I'm getting sound as usual when viewing those things in Chrome (and I would really prefer not to have to go back to Chrome), and all sound from other sources is working correctly - games, iTunes, Spotify, etc.
Does Firefox hook into my system's audio functions in some unique way, different from everything else? I've recently started experimenting with doing my own music and video recording/editing, and I've tried out a number of different audio/video apps in an attempt to find the tools that suit me, and I'm starting to wonder if one of the apps I tried modified or overwrote whatever system hook that Firefox was using.
Strangely enough, the audio spontaneously started working again yesterday, a few hours after it stopped, and was still working today until I rebooted my machine. Then it was gone again.
