You should contact Eset support.

I spent 4 hrs on a chat with Eset with no results. The tech tried to get me to switch to Microsoft Explorer

I called for more help. Have you tried disabling Eset on Firefox?

Thank you for the report. Does it prevent Firefox from starting, or prevent tabs from loading? What are the symptoms?

I think a number of "exploit protection" programs that hook into Firefox processes may need to be updated to work with Firefox 73. Meanwhile, the Firefox developers are writing and testing patches to address this issue, but I don't know when they might actually be ready for release.

Firefox will partially open, but when typing in the URL, Firefox won't do anything. It acts as if Firefox has froze. I worked with Eset for over 4 hours. Eset support basically gave up.

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.

Firefox shows an highlighted shield icon at the left end of the location/address bar in case Tracking Protection is blocking content.

• click the shield icon for more details and possibly disable the protection

You can check in the Web Console what content is blocked.

I could never get Eset to run in Windows safemode. I tried running Eset banking protection with Firefox in safemode, but Firefox still has the same problem.
