How do I stop Firecfox from continuing to route websites through Kaspersky after I unistalled Kaspersky and all traces of it should be gone?

more options

I uninstalled Kaspersky a week ago and checked to ensure that there were no cookies or add-ons or plug-ins under that name remaining anywhere. All files, traces, and influences of Kaspersky should be gone. But some (only some) websites are continuing to route through Kaspersky, as evidenced by the URL that comes up at the bottom of the screen during the connection. The rerouting is preventing me from interacting with those sites. What else can I do to wipe out Kaspersky and stop anything from routing there? Are there any settings in Firefox that can be changed to circumvent that? Thank you!

What do you mean by that last sentence. What symptoms are you seeing in your Firefox?
