My calendar is gone and I can not find a way to retrieve it

Lightning is the Thunderbird calendar. It is an add-on. Go to the add-ons tab and select Extensions. Is Lightning listed? Is it disabled?

If not there enter lightning in the search box and install it. If disabled, enable it.
