I'm helping a relative with User Agent Switcher for him to be able to add images on Instagram on a PC. He has Windows 7 and it worked for 9 images, but now he got 405 when trying to add or delete an image. How to solve the problem? I myself is an Mac user. We have deleted the User Agent and added it again, but still the same problem: 405

Hi

Why do you need to use User Agent Switcher to add pictures to Instagram?

HTTP Error 405 means Method not allowed (GET/POST).

Did you already check fro other extensions interfering, especially if content blocking extensions are installed?

Seburo: The reason is that it is not possible to upload pictures to Instagram from a PC (or a Mac) without an extension indicating that your PC is a smartphone. Do you have another idea how to manage this?

cor-el: Tried your suggestion, was not helping. I have read on the Net that 405 it a server problem. Do not understand why it worked from the beginning and suddenly not. When I myself upload picture from my Mac it works. I normally use my iPhone for Instagram but as I try to help my brother-in-law (on a PC)

Are you dragging the images with the smart phone?

Isn't there another way to do this that works on desktop (browse button) if dragging isn't supported?

cor-el: Do not really understand what you mean, my brother-in-law has no smartphone, which is why he wants to do it on his PC. The extension works great when I test it on my Mac. I myself use my iPhone when publishing on Instagram
