Firefox's midel name "Incompatible"
Firefox is incompatible with everything. First it constantly crashes on 64 bit win 7, So I went to Waterfox, but Waterfox is not compatible with mail.com. So, ok I give up n got a battery for my old laptop, no easy feet being a disabled Vet n with no income. xp, n Firefox, no crashes n I can get my email. Only now you are SCREEMING that you are discontinuing support for xp, declaring that we have to upgrade our os (which is NEVER good advice), the new computer with the new os being the beginning of this whole nightmare of incompatibilities.

More information and further troubleshooting steps can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox crashes (closing or quitting unexpectedly) article.
Try Firefox in safe mode, is the problem still there? Do you have any extensions installed?
Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).
If Firefox is open, you can restart in Firefox Safe Mode from the Help menu:
- Click the menu button , click Help and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled.
If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Safe Mode as follows:
- On Windows: Hold the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
- On Mac: Hold the option key while starting Firefox.
- On Linux: Quit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox -safe-mode
(you may need to specify the Firefox installation path e.g. /usr/lib/firefox)
When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "Start in Safe Mode".
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme, or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps in the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article to find the cause.
To exit Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.
Don't ask me to jump through hoops. Waterfox was written because YOU know firefox is crash happy in a 64 bit environment.
Solution Number 1) Quit ending support for old OS's n learn to be environmentally friendly, by stopping the need to throw perfectly good electronics in the trash. There is NO reason why even win 98 can't be supported ie. a firefox for older pc's BECAUSE WE NEED TO QUIT CONSUMING OUR WORLD AT TWICE WHAT SHE CAN REPLENISH. Don't be part of the problem, be a solution.
Solution Number 2) Not as valuable of a solution, but make WaterFox compatible with mail.com etc.
Did you try anything I suggested? I can only help you, if you go through the steps, I've provided you with. I don't have anything to do with ending support for old OSs, that is Mozilla's decision alone. We don't represent Mozilla here, we are just a place where users like you can get help with Firefox and other Mozilla sofeware related issues. 2. Mozilla and this forum are not involved in Waterfox and what websites it supports.
I understand and appreciate. But please understand I have ZERO interest in going back to win7. It wasn't just FireFox, or not being able to get my email for a year. It's win7 stealing my pictures, encrypting them in some hidden way, that I cant access nor even see them on other machines, indeed other machines over write them for their inability to see them. A years worth of photos gone. n should I mention the purposely out of control control panel. etc. etc. win 8 is no better, n win 10, hey, let's just turn my laptop into a giant useless cellphone. No Microsoft is out to screw everybody, n it is high time we quit playing their game. I'll probably end up going back to Lynx, but it is hard to give up on this Rock Solid xp machine.
Hi,
The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.
If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected at http://input.mozilla.org/, where a team of people read it and gather data about the most common issues.
If you do not answer our questions, the help we can provide will be limited.

In what way?
Re: User-Agent: Waterfox · Issue #178 · MrAlex94/Waterfox if you have not already done so, please try setting a user-agent string for a version of Firefox that is compatible.
If that does not work, you can post details to https://www.reddit.com/r/waterfox/
