no elm import possible in import exporttools

I have installed thunderbird 52.1.1 on a virtual system windows 10 pro to test elm import. i have added my google gmail account. I have added importexportttools But in extra->importexpoest elm import on a virrt->import elm files: is greyed out: i cannot touch it with the mouse also "elm import with subfolders" is greyed out. I want to test elm import on a virtual system.
