Hi,

I have created for my email signature an HTML file with an URL linked to my logo, using Photoshop. I have no problem to open and view this HTML file on my computer using any browser and to click on the logo, which redirects me to my website.

Yet after uploading this same file as my signature in my account setting on Thunderbird, when I click on “Write”, not only the signature appears empty with only its frames visible but also the link does not work. I have checked that the HTML options have been ticketed wherever necessary. I created a another HTML file with MS Word but also in this case I have the exact same situation. Any ideas where the problem lies? My Thunderbird version is 38.6.0. Many thanks

If you have a signature with an image and send it by email then it will be a "mime multipart" message.

Mime is an email convention. Thunderbird knows about it. PSP and Word do not. So use Thunderbird to compose your signature and it will encode your logo etc properly into the messages being sent.
