This has been driving me crazy, out of nowhere today none of my browsers can load youtube videos, I've tried clearing my cache, going into safe mode, reinstalling Shockwave player, Adobe flash player, i've done everything. Videos just won't load, on Firefox and Chrome, the videos fully load(Even show a frame of the video) but refuse to play, on IE it loads and plays but very very slowly, to the part where there's no point in using it, and it can't be my internet because everything else works and the youtube videos work on my phone, Please help me!

Is it just YouTube? What about other sites?

If you have problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions then check this:

  • see if there are updates for your graphics drivers

https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration

  • disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)

https://forums.adobe.com/message/4468493#TemporaryWorkaround

  • disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

Oh, sorry, it just randomly fixed itself. Thank you anyway though! :O

If multiple browsers were affected then a more likely cause has been security software that was blocking content. If it happens again then you can check the rules for the Firefox application in your security software.

It is possible that your firewall or other security software blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to install for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

See:

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) to see if that helps.
