I created a message to many recipients, but now I want to delete *all* of them - how?
This seems like a common issue, but I can't find a quick way to do it (TBird 38.4 on Win 10).
I create a message and add many recipients. After some editing, I realize I only want a single recipient. How can I delete all of the recipients from the message, rather than deleting them one after another after another?
Here's a slightly different version of that question - I create a new message TO many recipients, but later I realize that I need to make those BCC recipients, so the addresses don't show up in each message. I can't find a way to change them all with a single operation, I can only change one at a time. I'd be happy to delete them all and add the names again as BCCs, but see my first question! Thank you, I'm wondering if I'm missing some simple technique.

1st question: The Address Close Button add-on offers a close or delete X in each address box. Not quite all-at-once, but easier than selecting and deleting addresses.
2nd question: The Use Bcc Instead add-on can be set to nag you, or swap to Bcc automatically, and it offers bulk To/Cc/Bcc switching.

Thanks very much, Zenos. My issue seemed so basic that I kept assuming there was a method within TBrid, but that's why it was designed to accept add-ons. So, I installed "Use BCC Instead" and it works exactly as you summarized, an easy solution. I especially like the warning it can pop up when an outgoing message has too many To or CC recipients - a much needed feature in any e-mail program. I once received a message from the local newspaper that had 384 recipients in the To field. I complained and they said, "Oh, sorry." Yep, the damage was already done.
I looked at the "Address Close Button" add-on and saw that it would do that very simple chore that otherwise can't be done in TBird. I'm not installing this add-on right now, though, mainly because it hasn't been updated in 4 years. I also realized that another way to delete all recipients is to simply save the message, forward the draft (which deletes all the recipients), and make a few quick edits to continue. Thanks for the tips, and "Use BCC Instead" does a great job.
