I have been using this Thunderbird for a while and won't upgrade my os because I read that Thunderbird won't support the new one. All of a sudden today, when I opened it up after having exited Thunderbird, my inbox didn't come up -- Nothing there. So I clicked on the menu to get my new messages and the two options are grayed out, and where my email address used to be, there is nothing.

Hi, I sent an email reply and then discovered this link at the bottom of the email so I am posting what I emailed: "Hi, I was using a different computer. The computer that I had the issue with is an older MacBook and I don't want to upgrade the operating system on the Mac because I read that the new version of OSX does not support Thunderbird." And I couldn't find my original problem until now. I am sorry I didn't put anything in it to indicate that I was using a Mac. Somewhere I posted or emailed that the problem solved itself after I exited TB (even though I thought I had when I posted the original) then I noticed that the menu item to quit TB was still up there even after clicking several times, so I "Force Quit" TB and then when I restarted my computer, it was as if the problem never existed. Thank you.

The forum identifies you as using Windows 10. So perhaps you could explain that in relation to your statement your not upgrading your operating system.
