Is there a way to get borkmarks back to the way they were after Firefox has screwed them up.
Firefox once again FORCED a page to open telling me to sync accounts. I tried to simply close the damn page and it screwed up my bookmarks entirely. Now I can't find anything. Is there a way to return things to the way they were or I am stuck with over half my bookmarks lost.
I don't know why these fools have to continually screw around with what is already working.

If you haven't closed Firefox since that "screwup", you can go into the Library and use Organize -> Undo.
If it is too late for that, you can restore a Bookmark Backup from before the "screwup".
Before you try to do either, unlink that device from your Sync account to keep it from happening again. Clearly that shouldn't happen with Sync, and you may have to reset your Sync account with your devices.
There is no "Library".
These can't get your data back, but will help in the future.
These add-ons can be a great help by backing up and restoring Firefox
FEBE (Firefox Environment Backup Extension) {web link} FEBE allows you to quickly and easily backup your Firefox extensions, history, passwords, and more. In fact, it goes beyond just backing up -- It will actually rebuild your saved files individually into installable .xpi files. It will also make backup of files that you choose.

{ Ctrl + Shft + B } open s the Library window. Also Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks opens the Library window.
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.

Make sure to disconnect from Sync (click the email address in the "3-bar" Firefox menu button drop-down list) before trying repairs of the places.sqlite file.
