My scrollbar is missing
I have not updated Firefox for some time, and do not know which version I was using.
I use a Macbook and today I upgraded to OS X Mavericks. However, it updated my Firefox and now I have version 26.0.
The scrollbar to the right has disappeared. To get it, I need to press my down arrow key and then quickly get the arrow onto the newly appeared black bar, in order to scroll. There is no arrows available either and I cannot find out how to add them and the scrollbar back in.
I don't like the apple style scrollbars that hide when you don't use them, which is one reason I didn't update for over a year. I just want a visible scrollbar back and visible arrows I can click on.
Any ideas? I have no knowledge of computer code so am hoping there is a way to do it without having to go into a shop to get someone to edit code for me.

I'm not sure you can change this only for Firefox. See this thread for how to change this behavior globally: why do the scroll bars quickly dissapear in firefox on OSX 10.9?
Does that fix it?

Hello,
The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.
Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions and some Preferences.
- Open websites will not be saved in Firefox versions lower than 25.
To Reset Firefox do the following:
- Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
- Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
- Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
- Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.
Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

Thank you.
