Firefox has opened my computer to security issues
I have firefox 20 and kaspersky security which blocks and stops a lot of security issues when surfing the web, but now the updates for 21 and 22 have come throught very fast and the kaspersky secuirty is disabled in both off these. And now my computer is under attack from outside due to the updates that have effectively removed my security. Why are you releasing software for updates when the security companies have not been able to release working security measures to go with them. You must ensure that your updates to not leave computers open in this way or people will start saying that mozilla firefox is a poor and dangerous program to place on any PC.

If you can't switch to a proper security suite and you absolutely need all the browser integration bells and whistles, then you can downgrade to the ESR version of Firefox. It's a special version intented for organizations. It gets security patches regularly, but it only changes major versions once per year.
New major versions of Firefox have been released every 6 weeks since March 22nd, 2011.
Every new major version contains security fixes. By sticking with an old version like 20.0.1, you're putting your system at risk.

Internet Explorer for Windows XP is 2 major versions behind and will never be updated. In theory, it's supported with security patches for as long as Windows XP is supported, but not so much in practice.
Safari for Windows has been abandoned.
