After updating to version 20, right click menu has got very, very long which it wasn't before. What's happened? It's no longer convenient to use. All my add-ons are up-to-date, if it matters.

Thanks, I did check updates also from the add-ons page. I have Firebug 1.11.2.

However, now it seems the problem was fixed when I launched Firefox in safe mode, all add-ons off, then switced them on one by one (trying to find out which was doing it, I didn't) and then restarted Firefox again normally: bing, the menu returned to normal.

Firebug 1.10.x (and probably earlier) causes this. Update to the latest version and it will be fixed. Firefox's automatic addon updates are rather broken, so you need to manually use "Check for updates" in the tools menu on the addons page.
