Firefox 19 and 20 crashing - Windows 7 nvidia Graphics
Firefox 19 and 20 were repeatedly crashing on my system. I disabled graphics hardware acceleration, but this resulted in no appreciable improvement. Unlike a lot of people with a similar current error I am using neither windows 8 nor AMD graphics. My graphics card is nvidia.
I've downgraded to version 18 for usability.
Bug report for version 20: bp-be4a9374-cf9c-4afe-b74b-c32762130316 bp-449b763c-b909-4eaf-9e56-976c92130316 Version 19.0.2 bp-5956be22-75d6-498b-b92b-d4ad62130316 bp-b255e52e-b250-47ed-b615-ac4522130316 bp-e59d0a79-87a4-4c3b-85c7-b2f632130315 bp-9f57c918-3b54-4b55-ad7c-fa36c2130315 bp-fcb0ff4f-0ac8-471f-ace3-c519f2130315

All the crash reports are empty.. Please try a clean reinstall.
Certain Firefox problems can be solved by performing a Clean reinstall. This means you remove Firefox program files and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:
Note: You might want to print these steps or view them in another browser.
- Download the latest Desktop version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org and save the setup file to your computer.
- After the download finishes, close all Firefox windows (click Exit from the Firefox or File menu).
- Delete the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
- Windows:
- C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
- Mac: Delete Firefox from the Applications folder.
- Linux: If you installed Firefox with the distro-based package manager, you should use the same way to uninstall it - see Install Firefox on Linux. If you downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
- Windows:
- Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
- Double-click the downloaded installation file and go through the steps of the installation wizard.
- Once the wizard is finished, choose to directly open Firefox after clicking the Finish button.
Please report back to see if this helped you!
