I bought a new computer and downloaded FireFox. From the homepage I checked the local news. The article I looked at opened a new tab, but now that article opens a new tab every time I load FireFox.

I have deleted FireFox and reloaded it, deleted the history; nothing I try works. I'm tired of that article!

Hi martydel,

I looked at your system details and it shows that your home page is set to:

http://www2.morganton.com/news/2011/aug/26/cops-catch-copper-thieves-act-ar-1331837/

it seems that this was set as your home page.

Please go to: (Firefox Button) > Options >General Tab > Show My Homepage > Set the text field to what ever you want your home page to be or you can have Firefox open the last session, or a blank page.

Set what you would prefer so you don't have to read that same article again every time. Good thing they caught the copper thief's tho :).
