Updated to FireFox 5 and search bar is defaulting to google.com, I need it to go to Google.co.uk
After updating FF, the search bar (top right) is now defaulting to google.com. I have tried changing the google.xml file to google.co.uk and have also changed the keyword.URL in the about:config file to google.co.uk but still no joy. Please can someone let me know how to change this?

I also had this problem, but managed to fix it with the help of an add-on. If you're in the UK, the solution can be found here: Piranha Internet Firefox Fix
You can add search engines to the Search Bar from this page: http://mycroft.mozdev.org/
After typing google.co.uk in the search box on that page you see: http://mycroft.mozdev.org/search-engines.html?name=google.co.uk
- looks as though #20, second item on the line (google.co.uk) might be what you want.
To manage the items in the Search Bar, see: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Search+bar
