If updates are available, they'll download automatically. 5.When the updates are downloaded and ready to be installed, click Apply Update. Was that an email you received, supposedly from PayPal?
If so, see this forum posting - https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/832000#answer-196663

Which version of Firefox are you using?
That information can be found in Help > About Firefox

Firefox 4 did away with the separate Check for Updates menu item in the Help menu; when you click on Help > About Firefox in Firefox 4+ versions the "Check for Updates" is performed automatically (unless you have automatic updates disabled, then you have a Check for Updates button in the About Firefox window).

I'm curious what updating Firefox has to do with an update for PayPal? IMO, that isn't something a website should be attempting to control, especially since Mozilla is still supporting Firefox 3.5.19 and 3.6.17, along with 4.0.1 versions.
