Is there a way to display <canvas> and MathML in one page with Firefox 3.6?

I can use the canvas element in a HTML5 document with the current Firefox. I can also display MathML with a xhtml+math doctype. But I couldn't find a way to use them together in the same document.

I am aware that it works with the current Firefox 4 beta using a HTML5 doctype.
