Firefox hangs on our company system website. it shows the message 'Waiting for www......' and after a long time loads the page.

I can use other pages in the mean time and they all work fine and quick .... but our company website page takes time .... I am the only one experiencing this issue as my other colleagues have no problem with it ....... I tried using Internet Explorer and it has the same problem .... Please help

And once it is stuck in processing .... it does not responds to any other link of the same website unless the original screen (on which processing struck) completes the page load .... this happens when i saved something on company's system .... and it is only me facing this issue (all other colleagues are fine) in every browser i tried .... rest of the websites like google , bbc all works fine even when the one of the tab is stuck

Well I solved it .... I found that I was having windows firewall turned on along with my McAfee Antivirus firewall ...... I just turned off windows firewall and it is perfect now ..... hope this helps :)

I also fixed this by addressing antivirus. I have MS security essentials, & went into settings and Excluded Firefox.exe under excluded processes. It is like night and day, pages load so fast now it is hard to believe it is the same machine. If you are having page loads that grind on for ever look to your antivirus, and neuter it a bit.
